Das fein modellierte, gesattelte Pferd sitzt in einer ungewöhnlichen Haltung auf den Hinterbeinen auf einer flachen Plinthe und hat das rechte Vorderbein spielerisch erhoben. Die Oberseite des Halses ist gepanzert, und der dunkelgraue Tonscherben zeigt noch Spuren einer roten und schwarzen, kalten Bemalung.
