25 29 DECKEL EINES GROSSEN LANGHALSGEFÄSSES VOM TYP „HU“ AUS TONWARE CHINA, Ost-Han Dynastie (25-220) Der Deckel gehörte ursprünglich zu einer sehr großen Langhalsflasche „hu“ und ist mit einer schönen teilweise braun, blaugrün und silbrig oxydierten dunkelgrünen Bleiglasur bedeckt. Die gewölbte Deckeloberseite ist im Zentrum mit zwei konzentri- schen Kreisen und einem großen Kreis entlang des Deckelrandes dekoriert sowie drei kleinen Bossen, die beim Ablegen des umgedrehten Deckels als Füße die- nen. Neben den Bossen befinden sich drei schmale, längliche steg- förmige Brandstützen. Der Scherben ist beim Brand innen rot oxydiert sowie an drei Stellen auf der Mündung, wo die Brandstützen saßen. Der sich konisch verjüngende Hals ist durch Doppelband mit eingetieften Linien vom Gefäßbauch abgesetzt mit zwei plastisch modellierten taotie-Masken als Ringhalter, darunter verläuft ein zweites Doppelband. Der Tonscherben ist innen rot oxidiert und dunkelgrau an abgeplatzten Glasurstellen. Das Gefäß wurde 1954 in Venedig in der großen Ausstellung chinesischer Kunst gezeigt.
