For many years, Michael Trautmann has been the head of the
Department of Asian Art, which he in fact has created at Nagel Auctions from almost Zero. Today, he is one of the worlds most renowned experts for Asian Art in an Art Auction House, achieving impressive and extraordinary results. In November 2004, a blue Yonghzheng vase was sold for 1,05 Million Euro, a world record for an 18th century monochrome porcelain.
