Reserved Knockdown / Payment

If the limit agreed with the consignee is not reached, the Auctioneer shall be entitled to make a knockdown subject to reservation (reserved knockdown or "under proviso", "UV"). The offer at the limit shall remain open to the general public, however. The object or item may also be knocked down without consultation with other bidders if a subsequent bid is made in the amount of the limit or may be sold by private contract. Bids with a reserved knockdown shall be binding on the bidder for 5 weeks but subject to change without notice for the Auctioneer. The bidder is informed about a UV with an invoice stating an invoice amount of € 0.- The consignors are informed about UVs immediately after the auction. If the consignor agrees, the buyer receives a valid invoice.

Bidders who are present at the auction are kindly asked to collect their invoice for immediate payment. New buyers are asked to make payment arrangements or to supply credit references prior to the date of the auction. If such arrangements have not been made, purchases cannot leave our premises until cheques have been cleared. Absentee bidders will receive their invoices by mail immediately after the auction. The knock-down makes acceptance obligatory. Auction result information: +49 (711) 6 49 69-111 (mailbox service) .
