The lamp is placed on a tapering base cast with a row of lotus-petals surmounted by a cylindrical tube decorated with horizontal bands containing different scenes, supporting the oil container and a lotus flower on which sits in lalitasana probably Kumara with the tortoise in front of her, her four arms radiate around her, wearing sari, scarf, bejewelled, her face is displaying a serene expression and a floral mandorla behind.
