This four-armed Mahakala manifestation is seated on a human figure reclining on lotus-base, his principle arms embracing his consort with the hands holding a human heart and kapala, both secondary ones the sword and trident, his face displaying a wrathful expression and a flaming halo behind, above him are placed Samantabhadra embracing his consort and Buddha Shakyamuni flanked by various Saskyapa lamas and mahasiddhas, flanking the central divinity are several Mahakala manifestations including for instance the raven-headed Kakamukhamahakala and Maningnakpo flanked by his white consort and holding spear and human heart, the lower register with several protective deities showing other forms of Mahakala and Vaishravana seated on his caparisoned lion.
