Nepal, 17th c.
H. 16/20 cm
Standing in pratyalidhasana on a separate cast base consisting of a pair of Hindu divinities reclining on the lotus base, his twelve arms radiating around his body, his principle ones embracing Nairatmya, the hands with the karttrika and kapala, the other hands holding the prescribed attributes, wearing skirt, mala’s of severed heads and skulls, bejewelled, his four faced head displaying severe expressions, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, the hair combed in a chignon topped with a ratna and secured with tiara’s, his consort holding karttrika and kapala, wearing apron, bejewelled and her face displaying as well a severe expression, unsealed.
