Description:
North-West India, probably dated AD 1412H. 19,5 cm
The shrine cast with a Jain tirthankara in the centre seated in vajrasana on a cushion placed on a throne with both hands resting on his lap in dhyanamudra, his chest with the shrivatsa emblem, his face displaying a serene expression with almond-shaped eyes, inlaid urna, a snake-shaped umbrella above and surrounded by other tirthankaras, attendants and worshippers, the reverse with lengthy inscription and swastika emblem.
Former German private collection, acquired prior to 2007 - Minor traces of age, partially slightly chipped, old collector's number at the base
