Japan, late Edo period

Standing in sambhanga on a lotus base with the right hand originally holding a lotus while the left is stretched downwards along his body, wearing dhoti and a mantle draped around both shoulders, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, elongated earlobes and his hair combed in a chignon.
Former German private collection, acquired prior to 2007 - Partially small damages due to age and slightly rest.
