North-West India, ca. 15th ct.H. 19,5 cm
The central Jain tirthankara figure is seated on a cushion placed on an elaborate throne, both hands resting on his lap in dhyanamudra, inlaid srivatsa sign on his chest, his worn face showing a serene expression, parasol flanked by a pair of trumpeting elephants above, surrounded by various seated and standing Jain figures, attendants and worshippers, the reverse with the remains of inscriptions.
