TWO LARGE ROCOCO OVEN TILES

Description:

Switzerland, Winterthur (?), circa 1760
je 48 x 30,5 x 8,5 cm
Terracotta/faience, white glazed and painted in ochre, blue, manganese and green. Depiction of a hunter on a lake shore and a pair of stags on a riverside, floral motives in the corners. Partially broken and restored, minor cracks.
