Description:
Tibet, 15th cent.H. 14,8 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with his left hand lowered in the bhumisparshamudra while the left is resting on his lap, wearing a diaphanous monastic garment showing a section draped over his left shoulder in the shape of a swallow’s tail, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, raise urna at his forehead and his curled hair continuing into the ushnisha secured with a simple tiara decorated with a pair of flowers above his ears, unsealed.
