Description:

Nepal, 17th cent.
H. 22,1 cm
Seated in lalitasana on a lotus base partly set with semi-precious stones, both hands showing the vitarkamudra, a pair of lotuses flowering along her upper arms, wearing sari, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into her nose-bridge, her hair combed in a chignon and secured with a five-leaf tiara decorated with a pair of floating ribbons, unsealed.
