Mongolia, late 18th cent.H. 16,3 cm
Trampling in alidhasana on a pair of Hindu divinities reclining on separate cast lotus base, his principle arms embracing his consort, the hands holding karttrika and kapala, the other arms radiating around his body with the hands holding the prescribed attributes or gestures, wearing skirt, elephant-skin behind, garlands of severed heads and skulls, bejewelled, his four-faced head displaying each a wrathful expression, his hair combed in a chignon decorated with a vishvavajra, secured with a tiara and his consort holding the karttrika and kapala, resealed.
