The centre of the painting shows Padmapani in samabhanga standing on a lotus base, both hands holding stalks of lotus flowers blossoming along his upper arms, wearing dhoti, shawl, jewellery, his face showing a serene expression with downcast eyes, his hair tied into a chignon and secured with a diadem, his head and body adorned with a halo;The upper register shows Buddha Shakyamuni at the top, flanked and surrounded by various Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and tutelary deities, the standing Vajrapani and Manjusrhri flanking the main Bodhisattva, below the white Sitatara and the green Sitatara;e Sitatara and the green Syamatara, the lower edge with the centrally placed Prajnaparamita flanked by Ganapatti and Sadbhujamahakala and all in a mountain landscape, below a long dedicatory inscription in the Vartula script, in a brocade border.
