China, inscribed at the base 道光二十年九月初一日潘造 -Made by Pan on the first day of the ninth month of the 20th year of the Daoguang period (1840)

Standing in pratyalidhasana on a separate cast base formed of a bull reclining on a figure and placed on the lotus base, both hands raised in the tarjanimudra, naked, ithyphallic, ornamented with a channavira, a snake and a severed head garland, bejewelled, his bull head showing a fierce expression with bulging eyes below bushy eyebrows, open snout, a pair of pricked ears and horns, his red coloured flaming hairdo secured with a skull-tiara, the reverse of the base with a engraved inscription, resealed.
