A Daguang bowl from the Collection of Simon Kwan was included in the Exhibition of Imperial Porcelain of Late Qing, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1983, Catalogue no. 22, and a Qianlong example in the O.C.S. Exhibition of The Animal in Chinese Art, London, 1968, Catalogue no. 164, where the animals are described as 'seahorses, flying-horse, flying carp, fish-dragon, douniu, xiezhai and baize - Minimal glaze chips or frits to mouth rim, small glaze imperfection to body
