Korea, 19th c. and Japan, signed Bunchō, Edo period37 x 21,5 cm - 44,5 x 34 cm R./ 80,5 x 35 cm
1) Five paintings, some as fan paintings: ink and colours on silk, framed. Some inscribed. Possibly for Baeknapdo paintings (“Hundred Themes”) from a folding screen. 2) Tani Bunchō (1763-1841): The Chinese Gods (sanxing) for good fortune, prosperity and longevity in the Japanese literati style (Nanga). Ink and colours on silk, mounted as a hanging scroll. Signed Bunchō and sealed.
