On a naturalized Carrara marble base, a fully plastic representation of Cupid and Psyche made of fire-gilded bronze, filigree base relief and disc feet. Bulged, white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and fine, ornate hands. Signed "Lepine" and "H.Ger Du Roi" in red. Large Parisian movement with a running time of 8 days, half hour striking on bell and thread suspension. Pendulum lacking. Marble partially chipped and minor losses to edges of base. Rest., dial with minute dam., runnding not checked.
