Japan, 20th c.B. Teller 19-37,3 cm, Schalen 5,5-16 cm
Stoneware with various glazes, some with painting, wax reserve, ash glaze. a) Square plate with Fuku character in black glaze, rim transparent and turquoise glaze. b) Round with characters in wax reserved in the white-turquoise glaze. c) Rectangular with fish painted in white glaze, glazed black and persimmon red. Pottery seal: Shô. d) Porcelain, square, blue glaze, decorated in green, red and purple enamel with bird in fruit tree next to hole stone. Signed by the potter. e) Square with fish in relief, streaked white glaze. Pottery seal. f) Tea bowl, shallow form. Black Raku. g) Pair of tea mugs, black glazed, probably Raku. h) Tall mug, iron glaze, Bizen. Pottery seal. i) Pair of sake cups (sakazuki), Bizen stoneware unglazed. Pottery seal.
