Silver, hallmarked with the town mark of Bautzen, silver assay line (Tremolierstrich), master's mark IAB, Johann Adolf Borns (born 1689, died 1769). Each with the engraved coat of arms on the foot. Total weight ca. 820g. All slightly dented at the stand, two also with slightly dented foot.
Clemens August Duke of Bavaria (1700 - 1761) was Archbishop of Cologne as Clemens August I from 1723 to 1761 and thus also Elector of the Holy Roman Empire, sovereign of the associated archbishopric and the neighbouring states of Recklinghausen and Westphalia. He was also qua office Legatus natus of the Holy Apostolic See in Rome and Archchancellor for Imperial Italy.
