Description:
Austria/Salzburg, c. 1480/90H. 61 cm
Swiss pine, carved in full round with finely worked hair of the Virgin. Left hand and ball added, right hand added, some restorations. The polychromy removed and with brown varnish. Remains of dowels on the side indicate an original aureole.
