In meditation seat, both hands in a variant of the dhyana-mudra as found in esoteric Buddhism. Composed of five parts, robe and head with an only partially preserved black lacquer frame, head and chest covered with gold lacquer, the eyes of reverse-painted glass. Later Japanese stand with mandorla.
