Japan, stamped on the base: jungin Hattori sei (pure silver, produced for Hattori), Showa period
H. 24,5 cm
Of high-shouldered ovoid form, worked in relief and inlaid with a group of three seagulls against a shore, partly with gilt details. The base with engraved dedicatory inscription: : Edogawa suidô shunkô kinnen 江戸川水道竣功記念 (commemorating the completion of the Edogawa Waterworks).
