Description:

China, probably early eastern Zhiou dynasty
D. 9,4 cm
Reddish-brown, non-translucent jade with only very minor calcification, two fine perforations. Depiction in the form of an almost closed ring with the same decoration of stylized cloud bands and finely hatched rope shapes on both sides, a bird's head is hidden quite inconspicuously on the outer rim on each side.
