Description:
China, ca. 18th c.L. 3,2 (7,6 cm)
Each with a green ball and twenty small freshwater pearls on silk threads. Both earrings are cut from amethysts with heavily purple colored and colorless parts in the shape of egg fruits, the fruit receiving the purple portion and the openwork leaf and vine work receiving the colorless. They are suspended on silk cords, which are also threaded through the balls and set with the freshwater pearls.
