Description:

Nepal, 16th/17th c.
H. 15,8 cm
Standing with both monkey-feet on a lotus-base, his right hand stretched downward while the other raised in front of his chest, curling tail, wearing dhoti, bejewelled, his face displaying a severe expression with almond-shaped eyes below raised eyebrows, monkey-snout encompassed with a beard, elongated earlobes with large ear-ornaments and a flaming hairdo secured with a tiara, short inscription at the base, traces of puja.
