41,5 x 31 cm (84 x 54 cm mit Montierung)
In the centre of the mandala is visible the red Amitayus seated in vajrasana on a lotus embracing his partner Pandara, both hands resting on his lap supporting the kalasha, around him are four emanations interlinked by a kalasha, surrounding this central medallion are protective divinities and dakinis, the square palace is placed within a border of lotus-petals and flames, the upper corners with Tseringma and a pandita, the lower corners showing Milarepa and a Kagyudpa lama, in velvet and brocade mounting.
Important German private collection, collected in the 1970s and 80s, mainly acquired at Schoettle Ostasiatica, Stuttgart.
Minor wear, traces of age
Further another mandala in textile mount, Tibet, 19th c., wear and somewhat rest.
