18kt rosé and yellow gold, the rims hand-chased with leaf wreaths. The body, lid and base set with blue-gold aventurine glass (lid broken). Inside a removable miniature musical cylinder clock (needs to be overhauled). Paris hallmark on rim, assay master probably Jean Jacques Prevost (1762-68), master's mark (worn). Weight ca. 63g.
