A LOUIS XV STYLE SCENT BOTTLE

8x4x2,2cm.
Gold mounted opaque glass. 750/000 yellow gold (tested). Richly set with precious stones. Oval shape, the mounting with rocailles, the scarfed lid in the shape of a crown, as a finial a square amethyst cabochon, on the sides garnets and coloured quartz in cabochon cut. Ca. 72,3g.
Formerly in a South German private collection, acquired prior to 2007
