India, Rajasthan, ca. 15th c.H. 62,5 cm
Carved in deep relief with Ganesha standing on a shaped plinth, his principle hands stretched around the shoulders of both female worshippers, both others carrying the axe and flower, wearing dhoti, bejewelled, potbellied, his head with large ears, curling trunk, pair of tusks, elaborate head dress and radiant head halo behind, accompanied by a pair of female worshippers who caress Ganesha with one hand and hold a flower in the other, wearing skirt, bejewelled and their faces with serene expression, all carved against a shaped back slab.
