Top cabinet on a separate, finely carved stand, partly in openwork, with decoration of chrysanthemums and leaves. The central element consists of asymmetrically arranged shelves and niches and a small bridge for displaying small treasures and objects, as well as six compartments, partly behind sliding and hinged doors, and three drawers. The finial of the cabinet consists of two curved tops at different heights with decoration of hôo birds carved in openwork. Brown hardwood, the struts and the separately inserted back panels with floral motifs and decoration of hôo birds, partly carved in the openwork or with gold lacquer decoration. The decorative panels of the doors and drawers, as well as in the back panel with finely inlaid decoration of mother-of-pearl, aogai and ivory, as well as gold lacquer. The subjects of these decorative panels include various birds in the branches of flowering twigs, floral arrangements and figural scenes depicting immortals and court life.
