Description:

Nepal, 18th/ 19th c.
H. 25,5 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a separate cast lotus base, her six arms radiating around her body, the hands in varadamudra, holding trident, rosary, manuscript, bow and arrow and lotus flower, wearing sari fastened around her waist with a belt, scarf draped around her shoulders, its streamers encircling her arms and its finials curling up, bejewelled, her triple faced head displaying serene expressions with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge, raised urna at her forehead, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, her hair combed in a chignon secured with tiaras and a double halo behind topped with a parasol, the reverse with lengthy inscription.
