Nepal, 20th c.6 x 7 cm
The shaped covered amulet box decorated at the front of the cover with Manjushri seated on a lotus base holding sword and stem of lotus supporting the manuscript, the figure built-up from semi-precious stones, the inside of cover with the mantras 'aum ah hum’, the inside of the box with a standing eight-armed bodhisattva, partly consisting of turquoise beads and the backside with a mantra.
