Description:
China, 19th c.162 x 114,5 cm R.
Purple satin silk, embroidered with coloured silk in satin stitch and gold thread in appliqué technique. A ribbon of orange-red cotton is attached to the side. Framed behind plexiglass. A four-clawed dragon strives for the flaming pearl over waves. Stylised flames in the saddle-stitched rim.
