Two pine trees. Ink on paper, framed under glass. Artist's inscription and signature: Five Word Poem. "... In winter, in the 12th month of the bingzi year (1936), Chen Ziqing." A seal of the artist: "Ziqing zhi yin", two other seals.

Chen Ziqing, courtesy name Baizhai, was a landscape painter from Suzhou. Most of his surviving works date from the 1920s and 1930s - Traces of age, wear, few foxing
