Leather-bound, thematically and artistically in the manner of ancient Indo-Persian tradition. The pages are calligraphed in Persian script in black ink and illustrated with ten elaborately decorated paintings. The paintings are executed in polychrome gouaches and depict scenes from court-life in a rich palace ambience or princely hunting scenes, including a tiger hunt.
