The saddle consisting of various wood sections kept together with threads, the pommel and backside decorated with each two shaped iron bands wrought with various designs including a ratna, horned lion-mask with its beak issuing scrolling tendrils encompassing dragons chasing a flaming pearl, flanking a broader central metal panel incised with a kirttimukha, pair of hands and placed amongst scrolling volutes.
