In 1910 Josef Wackerle designed three large, exotic bird figures, the "Parrot with Cherry", the "Cockatoo on Flower Basket" and the "Macaw with Garland" for the wine restaurant at the World's Fair in Brussels, which was furnished by Emanuel von Seidl. The group also included a monkey figure with a basket of fruit. Lit. Alfred Ziffer, Nymphenburg Porcelain, The Artists of the 20th Century, p. 55 ff.
