Shell-shaped box with a slightly curved hinged lid. On the wall, on and in the lid fine Chinoisereie painting, probably by Johann Gregorius Höroldt. Crossed sword marks and K.P.M. mark inside bottom of box. Mounted in rose gold (ca. 14ct, tested). Minor wear. Comes with a bird-shaped enamel tabatiere, slightly damaged.
