Standing in samabhanga with both hands showing the vitarkamudra, wearing monastic garment including an underskirt falling down along his legs and a wide-sleeved mantle covering both shoulders, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, raised urna, elongated earlobes and the hairdo continuing into the ushnisha, on associated wood base.
European private collection, assembled before 2007 - The result of the C14 test of RCD Lockinge, UK, No. 10080 (05.10.2023) is consistent with the dating of the lot
