Three-part, curved kingwood case with elaborate, fire-gilt bronze applications. Fire-gilt bronze dial with 25 enamel cartouches, blue Roman numerals and black Arabic numerals for seconds. Decorated iron hands, centre second. Dial plate and movement signed Gilbert à Paris. Large pendulum movement with 1-day running time, half-hour striking on bell, scissor escapement and spring suspension of the pendulum. Rest, added, age damage. Movement not tested, no guarantee
