First launched in 2022, Kennedy Yanko's Artycapucines are an edgy, powerful translation of her signature metal and paint skin sculptures into Louis Vuitton leather. To realise the specific aesthetic, the body of the bag is first 3D printed with rust and wear effects. This is followed by the application of a special patina that mimics the dramatic waves and folds of the skin. Delicate metallic pigments are also applied. A detachable handle allows the versatile Artycapucines to be transformed into an elegant clutch, with a practical outer pocket serving as a handle. Furthermore, the strap of the bag can be detached and attached to a separate small leather envelope bag to create a third bag.
