China, four-character seal mark Jia cang zhen bao,17th c.
B. 22 cm, H. 9 cm (ohne Deckel)
Thick, bulging wall with two side handles in the shape of elephant heads. Silver-inlaid decoration of a wave band around the wall with stylised taotie and abstract bird motifs. Cast four-character seal mark in a square on the base. Very nice age patina. Zitan cover with handle in shape of a bird. Weight: 1,823 kg.
