Pakistan, Ancient Gandharan region, ca. 2nd c.40 x 34 cm
The rectangular panel sculpted in high relief with the standing Buddha clad in a pleated garment, one hand placed on his shoulder while the other hand is lowered, his head bowed down, facing three worshippers and a child, another three male worshippers above, all showing the adoration gesture and wearing pleated mantles.
