Ink and colors on silk, handscroll format, mounted. The painting shows a family clan (possibly Xiongnu) travelling on horseback in a mountainous spring landscape, led by four armed men. In the center of the picture, the master of the house rides on horseback with a child, followed by young ladies and servants. At the end of the group two camels packed with tents, bows, arrows and other luggage.
From the estate of Sergio Insunza Barrios (1919-2014), a Chilean lawyer, politician and the former Minister of Justice (1972-1973), acquired locally in the mid-1950s when he visited China with Salvador Allende, later the President of Chile - Signs of age, partially damaged and rest.
