A set of ten scrolls illustrating the theme of the Ten Kings of Hell. Ink and colors on paper, each mounted as a hanging scroll. Each scroll show a king - assisted by a scribe and other officials - examing and passing sentece on the souls of the dead, in the forground demons punish the wicked. Five scrolls with calligraphy on the depictions.
From a European private collection, on May 3, 1991 at L.H.W. acquired in Hong Kong - Partially slight creases, minor damages and restorations
