China, marked 'Dehua' and 'Bo Ji Yu Ren' (Fisherman mark), 18th/19th c.

Guanyin is shown standing in a graceful pose, with her body gently swaying to one side. Her right hand is delicately placed in front of her body, her left hand is holding a ruyi sceptre. She is wearing long flowing draped robes and a beaded necklace. Her face is modelled with a serene expression with eyes downcast. The back is engraved with a calabash mark and a four-character mark in a square.
From an old European private collection, assembled before 1990 - Slightly chipped, minor damages and firing cracks
