Japan, late 19th/ early 20th c.L. 19,5 cm und 21 cm
a) Of otoshizutsu type, in lacquer relief and engraving a frog climbing up a banana leaf, inscription: Tessai urushi bashô ha Ichi… (Lacquer work by Tessai, banana leaf by Ichi…) and seal), b) of the musôzutsu type, with long engraved inscription, dated Meiji 37 (1904), 2nd month, and signed Kôkoshû(?) with mother-of-pearl seal, rim lined with metal.
