Description:

Nepal, late 18th c. and Tibet, 16th c.
H. 10 - 14,8 cm
The first is seated in lalitasana on a lotus base, her right hand in varadamudra while the left is raised in the vitarkamudra holding the stem of a lotus flowering along her left shoulder supporting a manuscript, wearing sari, scarf, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression, her hair combed in a chignon and secured with a tiara, traces of gilding; and the second seated in vajrasana on a base, both hands holding the kalasha, wearing dhoti and his face is displaying a serene expression, unsealed.
